Michael F. Weiner

I practice litigation and counseling with special emphasis on employment and construction law.  I represent both public and private employers in all aspects of employment law before state and federal courts and agencies. I also counsel clients on federal employment laws including, Title VII, ADA, ADAAA, ADEA, FMLA and the FLSA, as well as state law equivalents.

In my construction practice, I represent owners, design professionals, contractors, and subcontractors in contract review and negotiation, disputes involving defective work, extra work, delay and disruption, acceleration and liens and payment issues.

Prior to entering private practice, I served as a judicial clerk for the Honorable James L. Dennis, then associate justice of the Louisiana Supreme Court and currently a judge for the federal Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
